Plasticizer Overview:
Plasticizer is a polymer material additive widely used in industrial production, also known as plasticizer. Generally added to polymer materials can make polymer plastic increase substances are called plasticizer. The use of plasticizer can improve the properties of polymer materials, reduce production costs and increase production benefits. It is an important chemical product additive, as an additive widely used in plastic products, concrete, plaster, cement, gypsum, cosmetics and cleaning agents and other materials, especially in polyvinyl chloride plastic products, in order to increase the plasticity of plastic and improve the strength of plastic, need to add phthalate ester, its content can sometimes reach 50% of the product. The role of plasticizer is mainly to weaken the secondary bond between resin molecules, increase the mobility of resin molecular bonds, reduce the crystallinity of resin molecules, increase the plasticity of resin molecules, so that its flexibility is enhanced, easy to process, can be legally used for industrial purposes, widely exist in food packaging, cosmetics, medical equipment, and environmental water bodies.
Main types of plasticizer:
Plasticizer from the chemical structure of the classification of aliphatic dihydride esters, phthalate esters (including phthalate esters, terephthalate esters), benzene polyate esters, benzoate esters, polyalcohol esters, chlorinated hydrocarbons, epoxides, citrate esters, polyester and so on.
There are as many as 100 types of plasticizer products, but the most common use is a group of compounds called phthalates (or phthalates, also called phthalates). Common types of phthalate plasticizers include:
Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
Dioctyl phthalate (DOP) [sometimes also called diisooctyl phthalate (DiOP or DIOP), industrial and commercial international name DOP actually refers to DEHP]
Di-n-octyl phthalate (DNOP or DnOP)
Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP)
Disec-octyl phthalate (DCP)
Dicyclohexyl phthalate (DCHP)
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)
Dimethyl phthalate (DMP)
Diethyl phthalate (DEP)
Diisononyl phthalate (DINP)
Diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP)
